North Lime Street Closure Planned in Lancaster City

A PennDOT maintenance crew will fill a cavity recently discovered beneath the roadway under an abandoned railroad bridge.  PennDOT plans to fill the cavity by pumping loose concrete into it. This work will ensure the road does not fail due to deterioration of the bridge.

The road is expected to be closed until Monday morning, October 21, for this emergency project. Cars should use local streets for a detour. Trucks and other large vehicles should use Broad Street.
